Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist — 13-Week Contract
At American Nursing Care Staffing, we're dedicated to making a difference in people's lives every day. We provide supplemental medical staff to respected hospitals in Cincinnati. We are offering a 13 week Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Tech assignment working in a hospital Cath Lab hospital unit.
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
Hours: 40 hours per week
Call: Required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned
Compensation
Pay Rate: $4000 gross per week
Travel stipends available for qualified travelers
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist (RT Tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Cardiac Cath Lab RT Tech will work closely with interventional cardiologists, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other members of the cardiac cath lab team to provide high-quality imaging and technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
Operate cardiac catheterization and fluoroscopy equipment during procedures.
Provide high-quality fluoroscopic imaging for diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases.
Assist physicians during coronary angiography, angioplasty, PCI, stent placement, and other cardiac procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms, imaging equipment, sterile supplies, and necessary equipment.
Maintain strict sterile technique and radiation-safety standards.
Properly position and prepare patients for procedures.
Assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate procedure documentation.
Work effectively during urgent and emergent cardiac cases.
Participate in the department’s on-call rotation.
Qualifications
ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (RT).
Current Ohio radiologic technologist license/registration as required.
Recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment.
Experience with interventional cardiac procedures preferred.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification preferred or required by facility.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
