RN Med Surg | Travel | Sheboygan, WI

Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic Float Pool team as a Med Surg RN in Sheboygan, WI. This role requires adaptability and a strong background in Med Surg nursing with at least 2 years of experience. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with floating across various units and providing care for a diverse range of patients.

Orientation: One full shift for login and paperwork, additional orientation on the unit

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to Med Surg patients
Float to various units such as Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, and Cardiac as needed
Manage diverse patient conditions including COPD, CHF, and post-surgical care
Utilize skills in IV management, chest tubes, and cardiac monitoring

Qualifications

Required:

Active RN License
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Experience with EPIC EMR
Competence in titrating drips such as Cardizem and amiodarone
