Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) handling critical care patients in an on-site modality. The ideal candidate will have significant ICU experience and will work with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular post-operative patients.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients
Monitor invasive lines and cardiac rhythm
Administer medications including inotropes, vasopressors, and sedation
Manage ventilator and tracheostomy systems
Collaborate with intensivists and surgeons

Qualifications

Required:

BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience with at least 1 year in CVICU
Experience with EPIC charting system
Competency in invasive line monitoring and cardiac medication administration

Preferred:

CCRN Certification
Specific CV surgical experience (ECMO, CVVH, IABP, VAD)
