Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU | Travel | Milwaukke, WI

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the CVICU in a critical care setting. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in cardiovascular intensive care with the ability to manage post-operative cardiac and thoracic patients. New travelers with the required experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Care for immediate post-op cardiac and thoracic surgery patients
Perform invasive line monitoring and manage pacemakers
Administer cardiac medications and manage ventilators/trachs
Interpret cardiac rhythms and assist with blood draws
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care

Qualifications

Required:

3 years of ICU experience, including 1 year in CVICU
BLS and ACLS certifications
Competency in invasive line monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Experience with EPIC charting system

Preferred:

CCRN certification
Experience with ECMO, CVVH, IABP, and VAD
