Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU, Step-Down ICU, Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, and Stroke Neuro units. Ideal candidates will have ICU experience and be willing to float to Medical Surgical as needed. Extensive cardiac experience is required.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Quick Start
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3x12
• Assignment Length: Not provided
• Location: Rockford, IL
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2511 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Document care according to standards of care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care based on individualized needs.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Utilize clinical expertise to guide other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
• Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate issues appropriately.

Qualifications

Required:

• ICU experience
• Current IL License
• CPR Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
