Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have extensive cardiac experience and the flexibility to float to Medical Surgical units when necessary. This role is critical to maintaining high-quality care for our patients in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Nights (7:00P - 7:30A)
• Assignment Type: Quick Start
• Assignment Length: 3x12-hour shifts
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2484 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care.
• Document patient care according to standards.
• Develop and execute a patient care plan, including patient and family instruction, per physician and hospital policy.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units supporting patient care plans.
• Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and experience, and escalate appropriately.

Qualifications

Required:

• ICU experience
• Extensive cardiac experience
• Current IL License
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
