RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Winston-Salem, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN for the MedSurg/Tele unit in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in transitional care and general medical-surgical settings, focusing on patients with a variety of conditions such as CHF, COPD, and other medical issues. Candidates should be ready to work in a high-acuity environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the MedSurg/Tele unit
Administer medication and treatments per physician orders
Monitor patient condition and document changes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Perform wound care, dressing changes, and handle medical equipment
Conduct cardiac rhythm interpretation
Manage non-titrating drips such as Heparin and Lasix

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of MedSurg experience
BLS, ACLS certifications
Skills: Trachs, chest tubes, IV starts, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred:

Experience with non-titrating drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone
