RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg/Tele unit in Winston-Salem, NC. This role involves working in a Level 1 Trauma and Academic Medical Center providing care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. An ideal candidate will have prior experience in Med/Tele and be comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing specific medication drips.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 3x12 Nights
- Patient Ratio: RN: 1:5
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
- Electronic Medical Record System: Epic
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care for MedSurg and telemetry patients
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and administer cardiovascular medications
- Conduct wound care and manage surgical drains
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 1 year Med/Tele experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Skills: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, PCA pumps, wound care
Preferred:
- Travel experience
