Assignment Overview
Join a dynamic ICU team specializing in neurological critical care. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in neurology, capable of managing diverse and complex neurological cases. This role offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet designated, Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive stroke care.

Responsibilities
- Manage patients with neurological conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and spinal surgeries
- Handle mixed acuity status patients with responsibility for 1:1-2 patient ratios
- Administer care including ventilation, tracheostomies, and sedation management
- Collaborate with critical care NP and intensivists available 24/7
- Participate in on-site floating for specific units like ED Holding and medical-surgical units
Qualifications
Required:
- 4 years of experience in ICU
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Experience with vents, trachs, art lines, vasopressor and sedation management, central line blood draws
- Proficiency with the EPIC charting system
Preferred:
- Experience with CVVH/CRRT and EVDs
