Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Educator/Respiratory Professional Development Practitioner for the General Floors unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric respiratory care and a passion for education. Previous experience as a traveler in a children's hospital and familiarity with the necessary skill sets for a Respiratory Care Practitioner are preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 4x10 Days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
- Orientation: Every Monday
- Charting System: EPIC and Microsoft products
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2850 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Respiratory Care Practitioner residency program
- Spend the first two weeks of residency in the classroom with new graduates
- Responsible for onboarding new employees
- Assist with educational programming
Qualifications
Required:
- RRT-NPS certification
- 5 years of experience
- Flu and Covid vaccination documentation with both doses and lot numbers
- Experience with pediatric ventilators and various respiratory equipment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience as an educator in pediatrics
- Experience working as a formal or informal leader
