Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Albemarle, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of ED RN experience and be comfortable with both pediatric and adult patients with a variety of illness types including cardiac and minor trauma. This role requires floating to various nearby facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care drips
• Perform PIV starts and manage conscious sedation
• Administer emergency medications such as TNK/TPA
• Conduct ESI assessments

Qualifications

Required:

• 2 years ED RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications
• General ED skillset including vent management and chest tubes

Preferred:

• TNCC certification
