Assignment Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in Level I trauma and intensive care, with proficiency in titrating intravenous drips.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not Provided
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Floating Requirements: May be required to float
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Care for post-surgical patients and those with multi-system trauma
Titrate drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
Read and interpret monitor strips

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
Experience in Level I trauma and ICU
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Understanding of drug-free campus policy
