Respiratory Therapist | Travel |

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist providing care for general med, intermediate, and ICU patients in an acute care setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in a large critical care facility and familiarity with a range of respiratory equipment and modalities.

Assignment Details

Shift: 12 hours, 0630-1900; 1830-0700
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Utilize the AARC point system to manage treatments
Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist available 24/7
Participate in department-specific orientation

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or initiation of the application process
BLS certification via AHA
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
Experience in a large (300 bed or more) critical care facility
Familiarity with respiratory equipment such as Servo U, Servo i, LTV, Bipap, and Cpap

Preferred:

RRT credentials preferred
