RN - PCU | Location: High Point, NC
Assignment Overview
Join a community-based teaching hospital in an urban area as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of Cardiac Telemetry or PCU experience and will be responsible for providing continuous monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic statuses. This role is suited for professionals skilled in managing post-surgical patients and those requiring respiratory support.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
- Care for post-op day 2 open heart patients
- Provide support to respiratory failure patients using non-invasive ventilators
- Titrate cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips
- Care for patients with arterial lines, vascular lines, and chest tubes
- Perform post-procedure site care
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Telemetry or PCU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Skills: Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and non-invasive ventilator care
