Assignment Overview

Join a dedicated team in the ICU, providing critical care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have extensive ICU experience and be comfortable managing complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday expectations: 1 per contract
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating: Potentially within scope of practice and to intermediate units, MSU, ED Boarding, Observation units
• Orientation: 1 day

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various conditions such as sepsis, GI bleeds, strokes, and post-surgical recovery
• Manage ventilators and tracheostomy care
• Administer invasive line management, including art lines and CVP
• Perform post-cath recovery and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required:

• Current RN License
• Minimum 3 years ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in vent/trach management, invasive line management, and post-surgical recovery

Preferred:

• NIHSS certification
• Cardiovascular and CV surgery experience
• Familiarity with IABPs and Impellas
