Assignment Overview
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a travel position in an Intensive Care Unit. The role requires expertise in cardiovascular ICU care, including post-open heart surgeries and acute cardiac conditions. An ideal candidate has experience managing complex patient cases in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including post-surgical and critical care cases
- Perform titration of various medications including dopamine, dobutamine, and vasopressin
- Utilize specialized intervention equipment such as IABPs, Impellas, and ECMO
- Interpret telemetry and manage ventilated patients effectively
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, PCTs, and respiratory therapists
- Ensure adherence to protocols and provide compassionate patient care
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- Proficient in interpreting monitor strips and patient assessments
- Strong skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and communication
Preferred:
- ACLS Certification
- CCRN Certification a plus
- Experience with post VAD and heart transplant patients
