Registered Nurse - ICU Neurology | Travel | Milwaukee, WI

Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic ICU Neurology unit at a Level III Trauma Center, providing specialized care for neurological patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in neurocritical care and a strong commitment to teamwork and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced neurological care for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and other neurocritical conditions
Manage medical respiratory overflow patients and general medical ICU overflow
Collaborate with critical care team including Critical Care NPs and Intensivists
Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and care coordination

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 4 years of ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, arterial lines, and sedation management
EPIC system proficiency

Preferred:

Experience with CVVH/CRRT and EVD
