Registered Nurse - IMC | Travel | Anderson Hospital, RN, RN-Cath Lab

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Intermediate Care (IMC) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions, including CHF, Arrhythmias, and COPD, among others. This role requires proficiency in specialized care procedures and strong telemetry skills.

Assignment Details

Specialty/Unit: IMU Stepdown/PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Shift: 3/12s Nights
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $2268 (negotiable)
Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd Weekend (5 weekend shifts per contract)
Work Modality: On-site
Float Required
Medication System: Pyxis
Communication System: SBAR

Responsibilities

Provide advanced care for patients with CHF, Chest Pain, COPD, and Arrhythmias.
Perform BiPap and CPAP management.
Manage telemetry and cardiac drips (no titration).
Handle pre/post cardiac catheterization and sheath removal.
Address potential emergencies using Rapid Response Teams.
Administer blood products and manage central lines.
Conduct feeding tube and tracheostomy care.

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of relevant nursing experience
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Skills in telemetry, cardiac care, and dysrhythmia management
Experience with isolation precautions and wound care
