Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the Surgical Acute department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in post-op surgical care, trauma, and overflow medical care. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are essential.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Not provided
- Shift: 12-hour days (0700-1930)
- Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays
- Charting System: EPIC
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
- Local Candidate Policy: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates)
Responsibilities
- Provide post-op surgical care
- Administer trauma and overflow medical treatment
- Perform dressing changes, wound care, and IV therapy
- Manage pain and central lines
- Assist with drains, NGs, and TPN
Qualifications
Required:
- Current active IL license or application in process
- BLS certification
- Experience in post-op care
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
