Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Hazel Crest, IL

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team in a teaching hospital setting. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in emergency care, particularly for neonatal to geriatric patients, and proficiency in handling various emergency conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to a wide range of patient types
Interpret cardiac rhythms and administer medications and drips
Perform EKGs and establish strong IV access
Work collaboratively with ER Techs, Charge RNs, and hospitalists

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 3+ years of ER experience
1 year of travel nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and IV skills
Basic ED knowledge

Preferred:

Experience with EPIC EMR
PALS certification
