Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Travel | Concord, NC
Assignment Overview
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. We're seeking candidates with a strong background in surgical nursing, particularly those experienced in trauma and specialized surgeries. The ideal candidate is a self-driven team player with the ability to accommodate mid-night case requests.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Work Modality: On-site
- Shift Details: Various shift times including 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p
- Call required: Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule (45-minute response time)
- Weekend rotation every 4th weekend; weekend shifts may be scheduled or on-call
- Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Circulate in trauma, ortho trauma, spine, vascular, and various surgical cases
- Provide quality patient care during surgical procedures
- Act as Charge RN and maintain scrubbing proficiency
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors, charge nurses, and other support staff
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Current NC RN license
Preferred:
- CNOR certification
