Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room/Department (ER/ED) team. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings, preferably in high-acuity environments such as a Level 1 Trauma Center. This role requires proficiency in critical patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide care to a diverse patient population ranging from minor cases to critically ill patients.
- Manage trauma patients in collaboration with a specialized trauma team.
- Administer and titrate various drips necessary for critical patient management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including ED techs and respiratory therapists.
- Interpret and act on patient monitor rhythms to ensure patient safety.
- Participate in shift-based responsibilities as determined by scheduling management.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
Preferred:
- 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous travel assignment experience
- SANE RN experience
- Experience in a teaching hospital
