Assignment Overview

Join a dedicated team in a 60-bed facility at a Level 3 Trauma center, specializing in critical care within an ICU setting. This role is suitable for experienced nurses ready to handle a variety of acute patient cases, including stroke, sepsis, and post-surgical care. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience to this dynamic and supportive work environment.

Assignment Details

• Facility with 12 ICU beds
• Patient Types: General ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Pneumonia, post-surgical, CRRT
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 up to 1:3 for stepdown level
• Support: CNA, Charge Nurse, IV/VAT Team, RT, 24/7 Hospitalist, Intensivist 7 days a week
• Charting System: Epic
• Shift: 3x12 Nights, 0700-1900 or 1900-0700
• Floating: May float to other ICUs if needed
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
• Weekend rotation: every third weekend
• Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with critical conditions
• Monitor and manage patient cases involving art lines, cardiac drips, ventilators, and tracheotomies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in code and emergency response as required

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with general ICU skills and critical care drips

Preferred:

• Previous travel experience for night shifts candidates preferred, but not required
