Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in acute care settings, specifically within cardiac catheterization. This role is ideal for someone with strong skills in managing complex cardiac procedures and patient care.

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $4520.40 (negotiable)

• Charting System: EPIC
• On-call requirements: Includes rotating weekday and weekend calls
• Holiday calls required if holiday falls during contract period
• Floating within coronary, neuro IR, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and prep & recovery areas only
• Scrub color: Hospital provided surgical scrubs
• Unit-specific orientation based on experience with 1-2 days in each procedural area

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in cardiac catheterization lab
• Assist with STEMI, PCI, and other complex cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with Cath Lab Technicians who scrub and monitor cases
• Participate in patient recovery and procedural preparation

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or proof of license application process
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• STEMI experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Understanding of drug-free campus policy with a negative drug screen mandatory
• Use and proficiency in Epic charting system

Preferred:

• IR and Neuro IR experience
