RN - Oncology Acute | Contract | IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Oncology Acute care unit. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse skilled in administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The unit features 19 private beds, catering to patients with various types of cancer, including Lymphoma and Leukemia.

Shift: 12-hour nights (0700 or 1900 start time)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Administer IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy
Monitor patients for side effects of medication
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Participate in self-scheduling and unit staffing adjustments

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or proof of application process
BLS (AHA) certification
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Experience with IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens
