Assignment Overview

Join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as a Registered Nurse specializing in critical care. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling high-acuity patients, including both general medical and post-surgical cases. We are seeking a professional with a strong ICU background, capable of managing a diverse patient population in a dynamic environment.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center
• Start Date: Not provided
• Work Modality: On-site
• Shift Details: Day: 0700-1930, Night: 1900-0730
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Assignment Length: 3x12-hour nights
• Charting System: EPIC (preferred)
• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $2430 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Provide care to critically ill patients with a focus on ICU protocols
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and invasive lines (A-line, CVP, Swann)
• Oversee drains, tube, and foley management
• Facilitate post-surgical recovery and post-cath care
• Administer CVVH, Balloon Pumps, CRRT (NxStage)
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including intensivists, and pharmacist

Qualifications

Required:

• 3 years of ICU experience
• Experience with Vent/trach management, post cath
• BLS, ACLS certifications

Preferred:

• Experience with CRRT (NxStage) and NIHSS certification
