Registered Nurse - Med Surg | Travel | Milwaukee, WI

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med Surg unit in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Ideal candidates will be comfortable managing vented patients and possess strong wound care, surgical, and telemetry skills. Join a dynamic team with great communication and teamwork.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Assignment Length: Not specified
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2268 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC
Floating: Required to float to all other MSU and ED holding
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
Holiday Expectations: One holiday per contract

Responsibilities

Provide wound care and surgical/post-op care
Administer and oversee IV therapies and TPN
Perform trach care; manage chronic trachs and ventilators
Monitor telemetry
Document pain levels accurately per protocol

Qualifications

Required:

2+ years of experience
Experience with ventilators
Charge experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficiency with EPIC charting system
Skills in wound care, surgical/post-op care, IV starts, and telemetry
