Registered Nurse - Cath Lab | Travel | UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing complex procedures and delivering patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role requires prompt responsiveness and a deep understanding of cardiac conditions and procedures.

Assignment Details

Start Date: 10/12/2026
Location: UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital
Work Modality: On-site
Shift Details: 5x8 Days
Call Required: 2-3 days of call/week, including rotating weekend call
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3234 (negotiable)
Charting System: Epic

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
Monitor patients' hemodynamic status
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
Prepare and maintain a sterile field during procedures
Implement and evaluate patient care, including advanced life support

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of Cath Lab experience
IL RN license in hand
Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS
Skills: 3D imaging, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred:

Experience with STEMI and arrhythmia diagnostics
