Assignment Overview

Join our esteemed team in the Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in patient care within a dynamic and supportive environment. We are seeking candidates with experience in cardiac procedures and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.

Assignment Details

Shift: Days with call
Call Requirement: 2 days per week, 1-2 weekends per month
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3665.2 (negotiable)
Charting System: Epic
Patient Age Group: Adults
Daily Census: 6
Special Procedures: PCI, A. fib ablation, device implantation, pericardiocentesis
Special Equipment: Farapulse, Siemens C-arms, IVUS, Insight mapping system

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
Monitor patient status and document in the charting system
Assist with patient preparation and recovery
Maintain inventory and technical equipment
Provide critical life-saving interventions when necessary

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
Charting System Experience: Epic
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Illinois RN license
Proficiency in 3D imaging, angioplasty, cardiac mapping, and procedural fidelity
