Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Location Not Specified

Assignment Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, urban, Level I Trauma setting and be adaptable to floating between units. First-time travelers are welcome.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not Specified
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2116.8 (negotiable)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirement: Yes
Charting System: Epic

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all age groups
Manage arterial line and BiPAP/CPAP
Administer blood products and emergency medications
Perform triage and patient assessments effectively
Implement isolation precautions/PPE as necessary
Meticulously document and interpret patient data

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license
Minimum of 1-year experience in urban, Level I Trauma ED
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
Ability to manage various emergency conditions (e.g., trauma, CVA, drug overdose)

Preferred:

Experience in a teaching hospital
Certifications: TNCC, CPI
