Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Chicago, IL

Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, providing critical care in an urban, Level I Trauma setting. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar high-acuity environment with a focus on efficient and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care for neonates to geriatric patients
Manage critical trauma cases
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Participate in patient assessment and diagnosis
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma ED
Current IL RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications
Experience with Epic charting system
Ability to manage dysrhythmias and provide acute psych care

Preferred:

TNCC, CPI certifications
Experience in a teaching hospital environment
