Registered Nurse - ER/ED | Travel |

Assignment Overview

Join our emergency department team as a dedicated Registered Nurse, providing acute care to patients across a wide range of conditions from minor injuries to critical traumas. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and have experience in fast-paced emergency room environments.

Assignment Details

Trauma Level: 1
Shift: 12-hour nights
Assignment Length: 3x12 nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Provide care for a diverse patient population including newborns to elderly.
Handle cases such as strokes, heart attacks, and trauma patients.
Administer and titrate a wide range of drips including vasopressors and cardiac medications.
Collaborate with a team of ED physicians, mid-levels, and support staff.
Interpret monitor rhythms and respond to life-threatening conditions.
Perform patient lab draws.

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
Negative drug screen for all panels
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Experience in emergency nursing

Preferred:

At least 2 years of nursing experience
Prior travel assignment experience
SANE RN experience
Experience in teaching hospitals

PEL/VIP Job ID #65439622. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
