Registered Nurse (RN) | Travel | Peru, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg unit in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on delivering patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The position requires flexibility and a commitment to ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not provided
Facility Type: Acute Care
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Rotating holidays
Floating Requirements: May float to ICU or Ottawa Campus
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2538 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and oversight with patient care technicians (PCT)
Monitor telemetry strips with the assistance of virtual central telemetry monitoring
Perform daily nursing care tasks including foley care, CHG bathing, and oral care
Collaborate with a charge nurse and administrative supervisor

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred:

At least 2 years of experience
Previous travel experience
PALS certification
