Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time position in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, encountering varying levels of illness to wellness.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7am-7pm/10am-10pm) with every 3rd weekend
• Location: WI
• Start: Immediate openings

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Perform age-appropriate assessments and ensure safe care for all ages
• Triage patients using the ESI 5 level triage process
• Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and external agencies
• Prioritize and coordinate care for multiple patients efficiently
• Advocate for patients' needs through effective communication
• Participate in professional development and required educational activities
• Administer medications and fluids, including emergency resuscitation protocols
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Two-year degree in nursing
• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license or active Compact Licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Four-year degree in nursing
• ATCN certification
