Registered Nurse (RN) | Travel | Neuro MedSurg Acute

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro MedSurg Acute unit. The ideal candidate will possess experience in level 1 trauma settings and prior travel assignments. The role is suited for those with expertise in managing neurological patients, including stroke and spine surgery cases.

Assignment Details

Start Date: 8/4/2025
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other week, both Saturday and Sunday
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Floating Requirements: Rotate with staff, float in urgent needs
Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific scrub color required; tattoos covered, ear piercings only
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, brain tumors, and spine injuries
Administer and titrate Heparin drips based on PTT
Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor on patient care
Support respiratory treatments including high-flow oxygen for stable cases

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or initiation of application process
BLS and NIHSS certifications
Experience in level 1 trauma centers and dedicated neuro units
Previous travel nursing experience
