RN (Registered Nurse) | Assignment Type | Location

Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Cardio Thoracic unit for an acute care setting. Ideal candidates will possess strong EKG interpretation and medication titration skills. This position involves caring for patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, and COPD, among others.

Assignment Details

Start Date: 8/5/2025
Shift: 12-hour nights, 1900-0730
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday)
Holiday Requirements: Rotating holidays
Floating Requirements: Float to other general medical units as needed
Scrub Color: Any color, excluding children's/cartoon prints
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients with cardio thoracic conditions
Administer and titrate medication drips, including Cardizem and heparin
Interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or confirmation of application process
BLS certification (AHA)
Experience in EKG interpretation and medication titration
All basic nursing skills

Preferred:

ACLS certification recommended
