Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing critically ill patients, possess strong critical thinking skills, and be able to provide complex care in an acute setting.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Acute
• Shift Details: 12-hour nights
• Assignment Length: 3x12 nights
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Local Candidate Policy: Local rate applies for candidates with permanent addresses within 50 miles
• Number of Openings: 8 beds in unit

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, ARDS, and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Perform central line and arterial line care
• Conduct bedside bronchoscopies and manage cardiac arrest according to AHA guidelines
• Titrate drips including cardizem, propofol, amiodarone, and norepinephrine

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiated
• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) certifications
• Experience with central line care, arterial lines, and cardiac arrest AHA guidelines
