RN - Cath Lab | Location: Barrington, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a combined Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in these units, with a preference for interventional radiology expertise. This role involves working with invasive cardiology and structural heart procedures.

Call Schedule: Nurse - 1 week every 3 weeks; 5:30 pm - 7:30 am weekdays and 24/7 weekends
Holiday Expectations: Just call
Charting System: EPIC, MERGE
Floating: Between Cath Lab and IR per skillset
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3750 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Record and circulate procedures
Administer moderate sedation (Fentanyl and Versed)
Experience with invasive cardiology, structural heart program, AAA repairs, TAVRs, ablations

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of Cath Lab experience
ACLS and BLS certifications
Experience in recording and circulating procedures

Preferred:

Interventional Radiology experience
Experience with non-invasive and invasive IR procedures like biopsies and peripheral interventions
