Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Travel | Milwaukee, WI

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Telemetry unit in a dynamic Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac care and will be adept at handling pre-surgical and post-surgical patients not returning from surgery. This setting requires expertise in managing complex patient types including cardiac and heart failure patients.

Responsibilities

Administer cardiac medications such as Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine
Manage heparin, lasix, and insulin infusions
Perform wound care and monitor telemetry readings
Provide care to patients with chest tubes and tracheostomies
Document pain levels and ensure compliance with pain management protocols

Qualifications

Required:

Registered Nurse with active RN license
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in cardiac care skills
