RN - ED | Travel | Charlotte, NC
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Emergency Department (ED) care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that requires strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse ED population
- Stabilize trauma patients for transfer
- Administer medications including TNK/TPA
- Perform conscious sedation
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care drips
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- General ED skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation and PIV starts
Preferred:
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
