Interventional Radiology RN | Travel | Rockford, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position requires working days with an on-call rotation, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Location: Rockford, IL
Shift Details: Day Shift with On-Call Rotation
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3300 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to provide patient care
Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
Develop and execute a patient care plan according to individualized needs
Provide patient and family education
Participate in performance improvement activities
Offer clinical expertise and guidance to other departments
Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience
Engage in personal development and support system-entity opportunities for continuous learning

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN Licensure
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year of critical care experience
Cardiovascular Intervention experience
Successful completion of an EKG test before the end of orientation

PEL/VIP Job ID #65655960. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
