RN Med Surg | Travel | Sheboygan, WI

Assignment Overview

Join our float pool as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit. You will provide comprehensive care for diverse patient types, including oncology, surgical, and cardiac cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in MedSurg settings and be prepared to float across various hospital units to support patient needs.

Responsibilities

Provide care to MedSurg patients across different units, including Oncology and Ortho/Neuro.
Manage general medical conditions, cardiac procedures, and surgical interventions.
Maintain and manage chest tubes, stable trachs, and IVs.
Interpret cardiac rhythms and operate associated equipment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years MedSurg experience
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Experience with chest tubes, trach management, IV skills, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
