Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced RN for the Electrocardiology unit specializing in cardiac care for both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in EKG interpretation, previous experience with cardiac patients, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise stress tests
Start IVs and administer cardiac medications during testing
Review patient history and medications
Enter information into Case Cart and EPIC
Respond to emergencies
Assess patients prior to testing
Collaborate with Nuc Med, Echo, PFT Lab, Cardiology fellows, and Cardiologists

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or application initiated
ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
EKG Interpretation skills
Experience with cardiac patients
Good interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Must pass a drug screening
