Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Grafton, WI. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of intensive care experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity ICU setting. The unit sees a diverse patient population, including general, surgical, and cardiac cases.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Not provided
• Shift Times: 3x12 Nights, 0700-1930, 1900-0730
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday Expectations: 1 per contract
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC - preferred
• Floating: Possible within ICU and related units

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor ventilator and tracheostomy patients
• Perform invasive line management, including arterial lines and central venous pressure
• Handle chest tubes, drains, and Foley catheter management
• Provide post-surgical recovery care
• Administer care post-cardiac catheterization
• Conduct continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with vent/trach management and invasive line management
• Knowledge of drains, chest tubes, and CRRT

Preferred:

• Cardiovascular and cardiovascular surgery experience
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella devices
