Assignment Overview
We are seeking experienced nurses for our float pool, who can provide comprehensive care across various in-patient units. Ideal candidates will have experience in medical, surgical/pediatric, ortho/neuro, and sub-acute settings. This role requires versatility and the ability to adapt to different unit needs.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, and holiday
- Assignment Length: Float to multiple in-patient units
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
- Work Modality: On-site
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved standards
- Document according to standards of care
- Develop and execute patient care plans as prescribed, including patient and family instruction
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Utilize clinical expertise to support other units/departments
- Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and escalate appropriately
Qualifications
Required:
- Current WI License
- NIHSS certification
- CPR/BLS certification
Preferred:
- Experience in float pool settings
