Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU | Travel | IL

Assignment Overview

Seeking a skilled RN specialized in ICU for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level I trauma environment and be adept in managing high-acuity post-surgical and multi-system trauma patients.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not specified
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Floating: Possible to lower levels of care with adjusted patient team responsibility
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Care for post-surgical, open abdomen, and multisystem trauma patients
Titrate drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
Read and interpret telemetry strips

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or initiated application process
BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
Level I trauma and ICU experience
