Registered Nurse - SICU | Travel | IL

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), where you will care for post-surgical patients, open abdomens, and those requiring multi-system trauma and endovascular care. Ideal candidates have Level I trauma and ICU experience.

Shift Details: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Assignment Length: Not provided
Location: IL
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
Number of Beds in Unit: 13
Nurse: Patient Ratios: Typically 1:2, could also be 1:1 or 1:3
Charting System: EPIC
Weekend Requirements: 6 shifts in a 6-week period
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Floating Requirements: May float to lower levels of care

Responsibilities

Titrate drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
Read and interpret telemonitor strips
Work collaboratively with intensivists, house supervisors, and respiratory therapists

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or initiation of application process
Negative drug screen
Experience in Level I trauma and ICU
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
