Assignment Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with extensive experience in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing post-surgical patients and critical cardiac conditions, and will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide care for post open heart surgical patients and those with severe cardiac conditions.
- Interpret cardiac strips and titrate various medication drips.
- Collaborate with healthcare team including CV APNs/PAs and respiratory therapists.
- Float to different levels of care as required.
- Maintain proficiency in using specialty equipment such as IABPs, Impellas, and ECMO.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or application in process
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in titrating drips and using advanced cardiovascular equipment
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
- CCRN certification
