RN - CVICU | Travel | IL
Assignment Overview
Join a dynamic CVICU team providing high-acuity care to patients in an acute setting. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in cardiovascular intensive care, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and strong skills in interpreting strips and managing various equipment and interventions.
Assignment Details
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3078 (negotiable)
- Start Date: Not provided
- Shift Details: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), every other weekend required
- Floating: Required to every level of care
- Charting System: EPIC
- Local Candidate Policy: Applies to clinicians within 50 miles
Responsibilities
- Provide care for post open heart surgical patients and other cardiovascular conditions
- Manage various lines, including PICC, midlines, CVC, and arterial lines
- Titrate drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, and more
- Interpret cardiac monitor strips
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation of application process
- 2+ years of CVICU experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
- CCRN certification
