Assignment Overview

This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will effectively evaluate patient outcomes, collaborate with specialists as necessary, and adapt nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to respond accurately to changes in patient condition.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Quick Start
• Shift: Night shift, 6:30pm - 7:00am, with rotating weekends
• Assignment Type: Travel
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with other specialists as needed
• Adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow
• Communicate with ED physicians about changes in patient's status and results of diagnostic studies
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification

Preferred:

• ENPC, TNCC, TNS certifications
