RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Macon, GA

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of Med/Tele RN experience and will be comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. This role involves inpatient care in a vibrant hospital environment.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Assignment Length: Not provided
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
Floating: Required to float to all Med/Tele units in house, as needed
EMR System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Administer nursing care to inpatients in Med-Surg and Telemetry units
Perform trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and monitor glucometer readings
Manage insulin and heparin drips, as well as other cardiac drips
Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, and charge nurses for comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
BLS certification
Proficiency in all cardiac drips

Preferred:

ACLS certification
Certification in Med-Surg
