Registered Nurse - ICU | Travel | Northern Indiana
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to join our team in Northern Indiana. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in intensive care unit procedures, focused on patient care, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have experience with cardiac and neuro IMCU settings.

Responsibilities
- Assist with chest tube insertion/removal
- Manage BiPAP/CPAP therapy
- Care for ventilated patients
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
- Provide emergency medications and sedation
- Manage central venous pressure monitoring (CVP)
- Monitor patient intake and output
- Ensure infection prevention and isolation precautions
- Administer IV insulin protocols and cardiac drips
- Use and maintain specific ICU equipment (Balloon Pump, Impella, etc.)
- Float between ICU and IMCU as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Indiana or Compact RN license
- Experience with Epic charting system
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Previous charge nurse experience
- Experience managing a patient ratio of 2:1
- Experience in CVIMCU and neuro IMCU required
- Omnicell experience
Preferred:
- Three years of ICU experience
